Its Labour Day...sadly it falls on Saturday...so the cuti itself is a cuti...

The Daily Grind

But still it is a holiday...woke up as usual...went to masjid for subuh...came back home, changed into my joggin attire then straight to PICC for my morning jog...i felt like jogging next to the lake anyway...came back then i clean up my flat...it has been 2 weeks...i was ignoring the flat's cleanliness...biasa la orang bujang tengah nak exam...aper lagi...dok ngadap buku dan melayan perasaan ajer...maleh nak buat benda lain...

Then ina and ned came and picked me up from my flat...we went straight to mala's choice for the week, The Daily Grind (not sure how to pronounce...is it green or gryn..you get my drift)...anyway...we arrived there and mala straightaway went to the cakes and picked up her favorite and supposed to be the most delicious cake ever (yeah somehow overrated but i comply, the cake does taste good)...Red Velvet...not sure what is the main ingredient in there but as if i care...it is about RM12 per slice..pricey...i know...but as long as it tasted great i think everyone should at least try it once...i ordered Iced Latte which was about RM10...on top of mala's choice, i made my choice as well, the Hummingbird...its a cake..not a bird...same price...its a combination of pecan and pineapple with caramelised pineapple on top of it...the coffee cost almost the same price as starbucks, Ina ordered Classic Burger...its a beef patti with fries and bread...not sure whether it is a foccacia bread...and side salad, its a complete set...cost about RM24...and ntah aper ntah dia minum aku dah lupa, and then ned ordered coffee along with mala...black ones...cost about RM7 each...we chat and 'updated' each other with our 'surroundings'...it was fun and it was raining heavily while we were at it...this is a great weekend getaway after gruelling week with exam and presentation (and i still have the assignment to complete)...we chat and laugh and eat and drink and seems like time just slips by without us giving any attention to it...then we said our goodbyes and mala went to the hospital while ned, ina and i resumed to the mosque nak semayang...

What else to do? ina suggested danau kota...but then again, it was raining...aku tak suka la gi sana waktu hujan...giler 'potong' okay...so we re-route back to putrajaya tapi along the way decided we went to JJ Balakong...called up cindy...and he was right on...terus ajer mai...ingatkan nak karok, tapi mahal sangat beb...RM46 per head...including buffett dinner la...for 3 hours...tapi sebab kitorang dah melantak sakan dah...so we decided against it lah...pergi la balik ke putrajaya with the intention of going to alamanda nak karok...sampai ajer....perghhhh...ramai giler orang...then decided terus gi minum la...

Lepak kat kedai mamak itu sambil minum kopi dan tengok Man City vs Aston Villa...3-1...abis terus pulang ke rumah...overall i had a great time hanging out with my friends which i regarded as my close friends out of the bunch...hope that tomorrow would bring as much light as today...and with that i just hope that i can wake up early for the next day's activities....

Awkward

I just experienced one of the most awkward situation in my life to boot...

One fine day...aku gi alamanda sajer je nak beli barang...setendet la kan...and then i encounter my long-lost used to be my close friend...giler arrr...kat alamanda gak boleh terjumpa...kawan aloq setaq aku...one of the friend in the circle...hahaha...kelakar giler...anyway he was in putrajaya on a biz purpose...so dia usung la skali wife dengan anak dia...tapi aku tak nampak pon wife dengan anak dia...dia kata tengah bayar barang...

First of all aku terus la apologise kan sebab aku tak dapat gi wedding dia dulu waktu tahun 2008 (as i was in the 6 months course)...patutnya aku kena jadi dia punya pengapit...but work had me pulled back...dia punya kenduri pon aku tak sempat pi...then lepas aku abis aku punya course dia dah gi US sebab sambung study dengan wife dia...pastu terus lost contact...okay la...but he looked happy la...

Then out of the sudden, i saw someone that i knew...long ago...during my varsity years...tengah mengendong anak...and dia mai rapat kat kitorang dua...makin dekat dia cam tak percaya...and i also can't believe my eyes...sampai la kawan aku nie sebut ~ "Apsal Yang lama sangat tadi"~ Yang??? she looked at me and i was in the flabbergasted state look across him and her...then he noticed that something was off, when he caught his wife was looking at me and i looked shocked...then he introduced his wife to me...and his word trailed off when he was saying his wife's name as if he remembered something...and i looked at him...and he looked at me, then looked at his wife then looked at me again...then suddenly he felt as if someone had slapped his head...then he was stunned...

Suddenly it was a complete silence around us...and aku boleh dengar bunyi cengkerik...awkward...suddenly i snapped out of it and aku cakap aku ada something to do...suddenly all three of us bercakap serentak...and we just left...

The wife was my ex-gf...long long long time ago...it was weird...seriously...i didnt know that my friend was married to my ex-gf who actually didn't know that her husband is my friend which the husband didn't know that the wife used to be in relationship with me...it was deng awkward...giler la...aku terkejut giler...tapi aku cam happy sebab i saw them both look happy together...furthermore dah ada anak dah pon...mesti la happy kan...

Kitorang dulu (the close friends circle) had two cardinal rules about relationship....first of all....tak boleh dating dengan adik kengkawan in the circle...it is off limit...serious...no kompromi okay...secondly...tak boleh dating dengan ex-gf kepada kengkawan in the circle...this one is total off limit...boleh putus kawan whoaa...but then again, my friend did not date my ex-gf, he married my ex-gf...so i guess it is alrite kot...?

Tetiba aku teringat sesuatu...kalau ler aku bukan kena gi kursus 6 bulan tu, mesti aku dah kena jadi pengapit dia waktu wedding...erkkk...whoaaa...that would be deng awkward man!...i think thats why kot...allah temukan dia dengan jodoh dia waktu aku kompem tak boleh attend...everything happens for reason...and the reason only god knows...but seriously that was unbelievably awkward...the top list...

Fesbuk Is Not A Book

Aku kena amik exam untuk naik aras gaji...but it went bad...

Dapat tahu kena gi for exam about 10 days before the exam...ample time? almost...but then again, the timing wasn't rite for me...aku urus setia bajet untuk aku punya organisation...so for the whole of the week i had been attending meetings day in and day out...and kena siapkan minit mesyuarat...all 7 of them...and then banyak giler pembetulan bajet yang nak kena buat sebelum submit to the central organisation itu...erkkk...so where did i fit on the study hours...

I Didn't...

I tried tapi seems like enjoying the company of friends overcome the importantness of the exam itself...boleh tak camtu...memang la konon jumpa kawan nak study...tapi we been caught up with the food and stuffs so study tu cam tak study ajer...gelak ajer lebih...salah siapa? hurrrmmmm...salah diri sendiri la kot...

But i am not going to beat myself to it lah...what happen is already happen but i just love to whine about it...in my blog at least...contoh cam the last two days...ha dengan nazri mai rumah aku nak baca buku...tapi aku dok goreng fussili la, popia la, nuggets la, french fries la...pastu boleh plak pasang citer Pisau Cukur dengan Syurga Cinta (okay fyne, aku memang layan citer melayu hokey)...baca buku mende? abis la tengok maya karin dok pakai micro mini skirt menari dalam kapal dengan eizlan yusof...denggg....

Patut aku baca buku...tapi aku dok melayan muka buku (fesbuk) instead...camna la nie...aduhai...ini semua salah self-discipline yang sangat la tak disiplin langsung...lenkali aku kena panggil la cikgu disiplin (cikgu mie-g ker, cikgu suraya ker, cikgu ili ker) untuk mendisiplinkan aku baca buku...bukan tengok muka buku...hadoiii...

Aku baru ajer abis paper generik itu...apa yang aku dok baca semua tak keluar...sedih tak...sedih giler weih...nasib baik gak ada soalan keluar tentang benda yang aku buat tetiap ari...contoh cam pengurusan mesyuarat...boleh la jawab...yang lain....ham ham ham hampessss....

Whatever it is...its over and done with...i still have another paper to go tomorrow (fungsional)...itupun sempat lagi aku nak menghapdet blog aku ini...biasa la...tertekan skit makan la ice cream, mengadap muka buku (bukan buku) dan menghapdet blog ini...just curahan rasa yang agak kecewa dengan diri sendiri tapi aku nie senang pulih balik...just going to sleep on it lah...sebab its unchangeable kan...

Insya allah...aku harap for the best la...eventho the outcome might not be as what i had hope to be...

Mamal & My Almost Forgotten Shoes

Seriously aku terlupa aku pernah beli kasut ini...tak tipu...

I was trying to take something out under my bed...lepas tu ada la satu kotak kasut ini...aku pun buka la...deng...it was a shoe inside...not book or cd or what not...it was shoes...i almost forgotten about this shoe...boleh tak? sengal sungguh...

Now i remember that i bought this shoe...i bought it in timberland's boutique in Isetan KLCC in 2008...it was year end sale and the shoe kinda captured my attention la...becoz i had been looking for that shoe before...but before this it was kinda pricey...RM459 to be exact...timberland does not come cheap in malaysia i guess...but it was on sale...and it was in the best buy section...yeah it is last season item la...and there's only blue and burgundy color left...i tried it on both colors...and i think i love the burgundy more...so i walk out of the shop, minus RM150 (yeah it was RM150) from my wallet...and i was denggg happy....hahahaha....

Tapi camna la aku boleh sengal tak ingat aku pernah beli kasut ini...ada bawah katil aku rupanya for almost 2 years...giler arrr...sama ada aku banyak sangat kasut (which is not at all) or aku sangat setia pada kasut lama aku itu...so no need to buy a new shoes la...i already got my new travel shoes...and i was denggg happy...so no need to think to buy a new shoes...but i wouldn't mind getting that alexander mcqueen scarred street low-cut sneakers (wah dah hafal dah nama kasut itu) for my birthday...hehehe

Aku bukan gila kasut...tapi aku sangat suka kasut...tapi aku tak gila beli kasut...betulkah?

Recently, my fave sneakers got stolen...i was sad...the sneakers holds many of my travelling memories...okay la...over and done with la kan...so, to get me back on my mood, i had been surfing the net to find some sneakers to replace the one that went 'missing'...here are some of the ones that managed to capture my attention...

First time tengok terusss jatuh cinta sama ini kasut...dengggg gojes weih...ada color biru, hitam and putih...my vote goes to the blue one...the price...rasanya aku tersilap tengok kot ari tu...USD100...itu pun kira discount...aku tengok kat bluefly USD139 and kat saks USD179...mana satu betul nieh...tapi gile gojes...

Prada Trainers

Its prada okay...i never have any prada shoes before...this one was seriously cool...but it would be better if they have it in darker colors...the price on the net was USD79 compared to the retail price of USD399...its prada...so what do you expect...

This one looks like my lost Dr. Cardin shoes...and the design is sooo last season...tapi aku suka...the price was USD39.90...the original retail price is about USD90...the look was casual yet amicable...what does i mean by that remark...i dont know...

Love the color combination...it does stray away from the usual mediocre design..cam new balance pon ada...but i love the detailing of the brand kat tapak kasut tu....its USD43.16...retail price USD100...whoaa...cam 50% discount weih...kalau depan mata aku, memang aku dah sambar dah...tak kira ini...

Weekend Comes Again

I am loving the day...

Saturday

Woke up this morning, went for morning jog and then came back do the household chores...i think my bedroom's furniture arrangement is getting boring...so i re-arrange it...berpeluh sakan la dok ubah perabot punya kedudukan nieh...finished...looks better...re-arrange my neck ties...made myself a nice cold tea...had an ice cream...then just read on the G.O...pastu ha seashell ajak gi study...okay la...study and lunch together...this time we choose alamanda....as for the lunch place...Bayou....actually we were kinda fooled about the set lunch...it was RM13/- but then again, it wasn't stated kat pintu masuk tu dari bila sampai bila...bila tanya waiter itu, dia kata...owh that only applicable on working days...denggg...okay la camtu...dah maleh nak kuar so we just settle down and ordered...there's a catch...for every RM30 spent on a single receipt, we can order mushroom fettucini for only RM1 (normal price RM13)...okay la tu...so i ordered the fried chicken with blackpepper sauce and mash potatoes (its a set) and ha ordered ceasar salad (konon nak jaga body ler itu)...then had the mushroom fettucini and i only had iced water and ha iced lemon tea...i think we kinda got distracted with the foods rather than continue with the studies...but we managed somehow...hahaha....

Then ha went back home and i went to the cinema for something to ease my brain for a while...watched When In Rome with Mimym and Dina-sor...hahaha...it was seriously a tacky but yet funny movie...and it managed to make me wanna go to Rome (as if i dont want to go before la)...done with the movies...had another date to catch up...

Messaged mala about our dinner outing (at first it is supposed to be a tea break but then again, re-scheduling is just a part of our life rite?hahehhe)...she said fariq would be joining...and it was a torn between IOI and Subang Parade...mala suggested Subang Parade and i suggested IOI (coz its nearer)...after much thought, and i think it would only be fair to let the lady choose this time, Subang Parade it is...went to picked ha and ned and off we went to Subang Parade...what's for dinner? i'm only going to drink coke...yeah seriously...i only had coke to drink....in Dave's Deli....

And 2 in 1 combo for my meal...hello...as if i am not going to have any dinner...hahaha...it was a combination of spaghetti and half lasagna...then mala doesn't seem to like those side salad on her plate...being me, hating to see it to go to waste...i 'half-heartedly' eat it (as if..hahaha)...then ned ordered fish and chips...and it turns out to be too big of a portion for her...what to do, mamal to the rescue (again)...and ha ordered seafood platter...ha being all these weight-concious and all, so i 'help' her to finish her food...mamal to the rescue (double again)...owh...we were chatting and talking and laughing until they started to clean up the place...its saturday nite, hello...and nobody seems to have a curfew...we need to take this out somewhere...owh yeah...like the usual malaysian...off to mamak's...

Hassan Cafe near McDonalds opposite the street to Subang Parade (okay, i made it sounds nearby but berpeluh la kalau nak jalan kan...harus la naik keta)...me with my coffee session...and we continue talking about everything...from politics (whoaaa) to world's economic situation (another whoaaa) to work (i think that this is one the 'must-have' subject in any of the conversation) and headed to the exams and also...yeah we managed to do some 'knowledge-sharing'...its not gossip...remember, guys don't do gossip...hahahaha...managed to get some good pointers from the seniors (fariq and mala) about exam...and headed back and had a nice restful and peaceful sleep...

Kasutku Diambil Orang ~Sedih~

Sepanjang 3 tahun aku letak kasut aku kat luar rumah tak pernah ada orang ambil...until today...

Bangun pagi, kuar gi joggin...balik dari joggin aku perasan cam ada yang tak kena...tengok kat rak kasut...aduhai...kasut aku sudah hilang sepasang...sedih...sebab kasut yang hilang itu adalah kasut yang pertama aku beli guna duit gaji aku more than three years ago...my travelling companion...

Aku ingat lagi, dapat duit gaji first bulan November 2006 (masuk bank bulan Disember 2006)...budak kekampungan mana la tau lifestyle kat KL kan...saje je la nak jejalan kat KLCC itu secara berseorangan(lagipun pi balik kerja naik LRT, itu ajer ler tempat yang aku tau pergi)...jalan gi makan begeking (first time ever, sebab kat utara takdak begeking) then jalan lagi saja tengok barang...hamboiii...mahal sungguh tempat itu ~sambil mengesat peluh di dahi kerana rasa sangat out of place~...kemudian terserempak lah dengan sepasang kasut itu...aku pun mencoba...selesa...padan aja...apa lagi...terus ku tanya harga...ada diskon...10% aja...boleh lah...then tanya harga sekali lagi...erkkk...mahalnya...tapi...sudah ku suka pada kasut itu...beli aja lah...bukan selalu...jadi pulanglah daku ke rumah dengan membawa kasut itu dalam kotak...its a sneakers...brown color...dan sangat la selesa...

Kasut itu jugak la jadi teman aku berjalan-jalan ke sana ke mari...ke london, ke paris, ke jakarta, ke bangkok, ke prague...semuanya dengan kasut itu...dah jadi cam brotherhood of travelling shoes...kasut itu sangat la banyak berkhidmat dalam memberi comfort kepada kakiku yang kuat berjalan ini...

Tapi selepas tiga tahun...kasutku itu diambil orang...tidak tahu siapa...sedih...tapi tak mengapa...kasut itu telah banyak berbakti pada aku...mebi dan hopefully kasut itu dapat berbakti kepada orang yang mengambil kasutku itu...aku agak kecik ati kerana orang itu mengambil kasutku itu tanpa izin...dan aku tak mungkin akan mendapat kembali kasutku itu...tetapi sudah ditakdirkan begitu...aku hanya berharap supaya kasut itu dapat berbakti kepada 'owner' baru itu...dan selagi owner baru itu memakainya...selagi itulah aku dapat pahala free...alhamdulillah...aku halalkan saja kasutku itu diambil orang...mungkin sudah tiba masanya aku beralih kepada yang baru...selamat tinggal kasutku...
