Birthday In The Family

Hari ni birthday adik bongsu aku and esok anak sedara aku plak...

Birthday Aishah Adzim on 1st June...aku, pakngah yang chomel lagi adorable, akmal wahab pada 8th June

Birthday my baby sister, the youngest in the family on 31st May...dari kecik sampai besaq muka cam amoi abiss

And 8 days from now...its my turn plak...3 geminis in the family...from 3 different era...me - of coz la 80s...my lil sis 90s...and my niece the millenium era...seronok gak nak sambut birthday bersekali nie....aku ingat nak wat party bersama-sama for the three of us...but of course its something that is hard to pull off lah...

And furthermore...i will be somewhere else during my birthday next week...hurmmm...initially i was hoping to celebrate it by the lake in indonesia...but seems like god have other plan for me...terpaksa la kensel aku punya mimpi mau berhoheh hoheh sambut birthday by the lake itu....

Aiii...its okay...i am not daunted by the fact anyway....just that hopefully for next year, i will be able to celebrate my birthday with my niece and my baby sister...its going to be a lot of fun i guess....its three of us...separated by merely few days (eventho in fact it is like several years)...but hey...kita kan amik kira tarikh ajer...tahun tu...hurmmm....

So i guess it would be a triple celebration la next year....bella wahab would turn 21, me turn 29 and aishah adzim will be turning 2...wow...its going to be a cool party i hope...i have more than a year to plan...so i think i can think of something now...heheheh

Anyway...its happy 20th birthday to Bella Wahab and 1st birthday to Aishah Adzim...not to forgot...happy 28th birthday to myself...

SATC Anyone?

I wanna watch SATC 2...biaq pi la orang cakap it is a chic movie...like i care...

Sex And The City 2 just been release in the states...and i can't wait to watch it...seriously...i do watch SATC...coz its fun...i wonder is there any SATC but male version of it...add in some masculinity and fashion and the brotherhood...just the same elements they have in SATC...just the difference is, its meant for male instead of women...hurmmm...i can't see that coming any time soon...NEVER...serious...aku tak bley bayangkan kalau ada citer SATC tapi about 4 successful guys getting on famously talking about their sex life in some posh food joints and at the same time donning on designer outfits...its too...metrosexual...i think...hahaha...

Lets try it shall we...carrie in a male version...ouch...a writer who constantly blabbers about love and relationship...hurmmm...how about charlotte...the 'innocent' one...erkk...then we have samantha as a guy's character...well i kinda actually imagine a guy who's as promiscous as samantha...last but not least...miranda...from my own personal view...miranda is all masculine...its totally guy's character...workaholic and some sort of 'tyrant' who can't lose out to anyone...hahaha...and all is done while going for fashion week...going on shopping for high-end labels...and eating out at the high-class restaurants...actually i can imagine 4 guys going for a good meal at mamak talking about football instead of high end restaurants talking about their own sex life...that is soooo malaysian...i think...

But still i am waiting for SATC 2 to hit our shores...eventho i got some information that it is heavily censored...its malaysia anyway...but still we can manage to find our way to watch the original version of the movie...hehehe...

Aku suka makan...aku malas nak kuar rumah...oleh itu aku masak sendiri...

But there's someone who thinks that i am a weirdo coz i cook...and bake...hurmmm...

The person mentioned that its un-manly...

Real guy don't cook...

Then i presume Chef Ramsey (Hell's Kitchen) and Jamie Olliver (Naked Chef) are weirdo then?

And many other male chefs around the globe...iron chef too (i love iron chef)...

But, biaq pi lah...aku sendiri masak, aku sendiri makan...aku sendiri happy...

But i do respect the person's personal view on this...its a freedom of speech...

Banyak betul nickname aku...siap boleh segregate ikut tempat...

And also ikut how close we are as well...cam biasa, the common ialah ak*mal la...mal...common la...

Kat U*SM dulu...mat...close friends...kemat (dont ask me how they come up with this name)...

Kat matriks dulu...mal...setendet ajer

Family aku...man...also aku tak tau mana mai nama nie...

Cikgu aku dulu slalu dok mispronounced my name...ikmal...agaknya sebab lagi faymes kot...

Ada really close friends of mine called me ......... tak bley bagitau ...hahahah

And ada gak yang longtime friends called me ...... tak bley bagitau gak ....

Ada certain close friends panggil aku....ajie...and later on i used it as my pen-name...nama pena...and some old friends called me lamka (ak*mal diterbalikkan and later it became my t*witter acc name)...

Friends in the service usually goes by my full name....a*kmal...or kemal....

Close friends in the service called me...mamal...hahaha...cute giler nama...dan aku ingat che bimb la dulu yang start panggil aku nama nie...then followed by my close friends...yang tak close...FORBIDDEN to call me by this name...hahahah

Kekadang tu bila aku bump into someone yang aku 'terforget' kat tengah jalan...i can actually narrow down the timeline that i knew the person only based on the nick they call me...hehehe....

Then i was thinking....masya allah...banyaknya nickname aku....but personally i prefer ak*mal...means perfect...eventho i am not....heheheh

Words By Mouth

Its the best means of marketing...ever...

Seperti yang sesetengah kawan aku tau...aku sekarang dalam usaha untuk mencari duit lebih...owh tidak...aku tidak termasuk dalam golongan login fesbuk dapat seratus...m*Lm dan sewaktu dengannya...aku just buat apa yang orang lain buat itu...iaitu...trying to find things that is cheaper in the states but mahal nak mamposss di negaraku ini...

Alhamdulillah...so far so good...sebenarnya aku tak promote camna pon...aku takder ler nak mengetag orang just to see the latest collection or not...i just post certain items in my fesbuk...and just tag the respective person who DOES want me to tag them to the items that i have in store...thats it...

And of course la...the word goes around and i have more people demanding for more...but as i had mentioned in my past entry...kitorang tak beli items and then sell them...we collect orders, along with the budget and try to find them within the budget price...or we quote the price that we think is reasonable enough...then we goes on to purchase the respective item on behalf of the person who require it...bukan la beli something that unrequired pastu just try to sell it off...it might work with a broader based of people...but i try to keep it in low volume and just to try to make it as another means to add in to the income not as the main side income...but from time to time...my sis do bought some stuffs that we feel would have demand with reasonable and appropriate price...

But recently aku dapat request from several people (who are not in my list) what i have in store...erkkk...cam heran gak camna diorang tau...and yeah...it is the words by mouth...some satisfied customer seems to enticed another potential ones...for instance, i had 'helped' a person to bought a white relic bag...and turns out another 2 person who noticed the bag ask the respective person where she got it...and she asked them to ask me...and that is how a good foundation of business started...with a loyal customer introducing to the potential buyers...

And kitorang tak paksa...as i mentioned...we just 'helped' respective people to buy their respective items at a slightly cheaper price...thats it...kalau diorang ada kawan kat states or europe, i would simply ask them to ask their friends for help to find those items...but the difference is...would their friends be willing to do just that? or do they really know where to find the best rate? some of them does...but some of them would diss off saying that they dont have the time nor the will to find it...

My sis had been residing in the states for almost 10 years now...and i think the genes do runs among the siblings...we love those expensive items but we managed to purchase them at a cheaper price...fair enough rite...

All in all...i really feel good that we managed to make this work...the margin is not that much...seriously...no joking...as i do cross-checked with other blogs...and even many of my customers do feel that we had offered a good bargain...as for me...this is not my main means of income...it just something that i feel compelled to do in order just to add in some funds to the family...and my sister feels just the same...if this goes well as it is now...i think that seattle 2011 seems brighter now...hehehe...hadi...aper lagi...kumpui duit ya...nanti kita g ke hard rock seattle...yeee haaa...
