Dream is Just Another Life

I'm not sure whether this is normal...to remember a dream...not exactly remember...just a vague recollection of what happened in the dream...

But the thing is...it doesn't feel like a dream...it feels like another life...

Its like an episode of a different drama series...like one nite it will be like an episode from How I Met Your Mother...the next night might be like from an episode of Downtown Abbey...just to give an example...its not as if i do dreamt being part of the drama series...duhhh...i can't remember the exact detail of the whole thing but all i remember was that...i just fit in...as if i do lead that life...but only its not...its just a dream...

Weird huh...i started having this since end of last year...every nite its a different dream...different situation...different profession...totally different life...a friend told me that it might be my sub-concious mind playing around with my mind...perhaps...after all...its only just a dream rite...

Nowadays when i wake up in the morning...i don't really fell refresh...just feeling like no feeling...neither was i too tired...its just in between...i don't know...is it normal or not...but the feeling is surreal...its like those dream is just another life...whacky...

Wheel of Life...Reality...

Suddenly i remember an encounter with my ex-schoolmate few months back...who used to look down on me...and based on our short chit chat over coffee he still do look down on me...literally he was taller than me and still is...then we started to talk about our life back then and life now...the conversation got into an interesting turn of event when we got into the conversation about our current life...this is roughly how the conversation goes...not in the exact words...but non-the-less still carry the same meaning...

Friend : Hang kerja apa la nie?

Me : Owh...aku keja gomen...

Friend : Ermmm...keja apa hang nie?

Me : Kebanyakan aku kena buat persediaan untuk mesyuarat (which is true...just not into details)

Friend : Oooo (with that mocking tone of his)...itu la...dulu orang suruh blajaq betoi betoi...jangan dok berangan saja...tengok la nie...dok keja wat persediaan mesyuarat je...(then he laugh the mocking laugh)

Me : Errrr (in my mind...what the hague?) Hang plak buat apa la nie?

Friend : Aku engineer at *****...ni pon aku baru balik dari UK...holiday...best gila...hang pernah pi?

Me : Kalau ada rezeki insya allah...

Friend : Kalau kerja setakat dok wat persediaan mesyuarat saja...ntah bila la hang bleh pi...pi dalam mimpi saja la kot...(then continue to laugh)...hang ni tak berubah langsung...memang kaki berangan...

Me : Ermmmm...

*Then we just continue to chit chat about things and me got smashed here and then which i let him think whatever he wants to think of me*

Friend : Hang ada fesbuk...

Me : Ada...add la aku (with me giving my emel add)...

Friend : Nanti aku add...

Me : Sure...okay lah...got to go...nice meeting you...

Friend : Nice meeting you too...one advice...brenti la berangan...usaha la lebih skit...

Me : Insya allah...

That nite he add me up in fesbuk...

Then recently i bumped into him again...but this time around...there's no more mocking laugh...there's no more irritating statements...very civil conversation over coffee...about the current life...for once in our entire years of knowing each other...i was the one who lead the conversation instead of him...how the tables has turned...

Its interesting...i used to be ridiculed by this guy...every single word that came out from my mouth will be smashed down by irritating words...but now seek my advice on certain stuffs...

Funny...good lesson even for myself...there's nothing wrong of being look down upon...being an underdog... coz there's more elements of surprise...just go with the flow and let the wind blows...

This is life...the wheel of life...reality...

2012...its a memorable year...totally...coz my life at the different turning point...but all turns out good and well...the highlights...

Transfer to the new office

It was a difficult decision for me to make coz i really like my old office...but the new office comes with different experience and difference surroundings...i guess some of us need to let go of the comfort zone to challenge ourself to a greater heights...hahaha...ayattttt...

Got another niece...beautiful niece name Arissa...another addition to our ever growing family...

New Sis-In-Law

My lil bro got married...to his girlfriend since the varsity years...whoaaaa...cool...i guess that varsity years are the best years to find partner...errrrr...lost that chance already...demmm...

Travel

Bandar Seri Begawan-Phnom Penh-Siem Reap-Lombok-Bali-Makassar-Manila-Phnom Penh-Amsterdam-The Hague-Brussels-Roermond-Antwerp...in that order...

Snow on my face

Finally...it happened...the snow in my face experience...demmm satisfied...

Best friends got married

Conngrats to my dear friends...Hazman - Pn. Hayati - Pa'an - Aida Misran from Malaysia - Hajjah Mimym....finally Hazman got married...we are all waiting for that to happen...hahaha...then Pn Hayati's wedding in October...luckily its not clash with any of the meetings i had to attend or my lil bro's...but for the rest...they got married in December...i wasn't in the coverage area until 16 December which i immediately once touchdown in KLIA went directly to Aida's wedding on the groom side...

Cousins got married

Its the year for the younger third generation of Hj. Hussain clan either got married or got engaged...that includes my lil bro...Ipin...Deanna...then Ayumi got engaged...scheduled to be married this year...okay...i still consider myself as the younger third generation...errrr...

Shoes

Okay...i went a bit overboard last year...on top of almost half a dozen (or more) Primavera which is my favorite shoes brand anyway (support Malaysian product yeah)...i also bought some rather high-end designer brands as well...Boss Orange...Tod's...Ferragamo...errr...to sum up the total of more than 20 shoes last year alone...errrr...that is more than the number of months in a year...errrrr...this year...NO MORE SHOES...read the fine prints...

unless if i give away the shoes...i have to replace it lah...hehehe...

That was all last year...

This year...the story is yet to unfold...

But the targets are pretty much carry forward from last year's unsuccessful ones...the top part of the picture is my highest priority...insya allah...it will all be okay...amin...

Review - Pitch Perfect

I watched the trailer for the movie when i went for Skyfall last month...looks like a very fun movie indeed...so i kinda waited for it to be screened in Alamanda...but seems like it was only open for a limited screening in a few selected cinemas...now its only screening time is at 6pm in GSC Pavillion...errrrr...

We happened to be in the city yesterday...so why not...it should be fun...but turns out...it is more than fun...it is OHSEMMMM...acca-awesomeeeee...seriously...no joking...now i am actually acca-afflicted with acca-ness...acca-wadehek???

The movie is about Bella an all female college a capella group competing for the nationals...acca-whatever...so basically its about the their journey en route to the nationals...i does feel a bit like Bring It On but an a capella version of it...but i think its much much better...definitely not glee...music arrangements for the soundtrack was great...i love the mash-ups...performances from each cast was not disappointing at all...

Favorite character from the movie of course Fat Amy...her lines are among the funniest throughout the movie...one can't help laughing at every single word that came out from her mouth...acca-awkwardddd...

One of the most acca-awesome scene will be the riff-off scene where all these groups have to out-sing another...can't really remember of the rules of the riff-off...but its kinda like dance-off...but singin version of it...it was totally aca-coolness...

I have to admit that i did not expect the movie to be as good as it is...i just expected some-sort of teen movie ala Bring It On or Step Up or what...but it was better...much better...its like watching Bridemaids...don't have any expectation...but end up totally satisfied...

I read somewhere that there will be sequel to it...i am so acca-going to watch it...hahaha...

Confession of a Cheapskate Shopaholics - 2012 Damages...

2012 is almost at the end...in just a few days its going to be 2013...hooreyyy...live to see another year...alhamdulillah...this year there's so many things happened in my life that had really made my life had its ups and downs through out...

My wallet and bank account was also not spared from it...errrr...luckily enough...i am such a cheapskate that i won't buy something that is beyond reasonable (at least on my own terms)...but shockingly enough...i thought last year was the year that i had spent so much on shoes...but this year managed to smack it down...hahaha...i surprised myself...

First of all...i don't spend that much on travelling...as the circumstances had me not being able to do that...but i do travel non-the-less...but under different circumstances...no wonder i kinda have a bit more to spend on that worldly goods...hahaha...demmmm...

What had i bought this year...

I bought 4 wallets...which non of it for myself...mostly for my brothers and father...then i bought more perfume than last year...hahaha...maybe coz it was really that affordable...Sonia Rykiel...Issey Miyake...Hugo Boss...Burberry...Banana Republic...ermmm...but i utilised each and every bottle...still its not yet finish...

Shoes...errrr...when it come to this particular part...i almost lost count...i think i had bought more than 20 pairs this year...hahaha...demmm...i do not know what get into me...except that it was really that affordable...

So this is the new year resolution...

No More Shoes...and Perfumes for that matter...owh yeah...i almost forgot about watches...i bought 8 watches...errrr...that was a record...it was unimaginable...No More Watch as well...perhaps next year i will spend more on assets...already started surveying on houses...some might say that i am too late for that...as the price is getting much unreasonable...but whatever it is...as i said...i can only do it if it by far is within my own means...

That's it...No More Shoes...Perfumes...Watches...unless if i gave those away then i can buy a replacement yeah...hehehe...

Now i am wondering whether i will be able to do just that...

My badminton buddies has their own theory...which is ridiculous to think of...about how i end up going to The Hague the other day...

Katanya sebab aku suka sangat sebut wadahek (which was loosely based on what the heck)...which kalau dienglishkan jadi ler What The Hague...or loosely sound like it...so depa kata la its like a prayer on daily basis at the back of my sub-concious mind...

Childhood Wish

One of my childhood wish was to have the snow falls on my face...and it came true few weeks ago...back then some said that i was a dreamer...always dreaming about stuffs that seem impossible...but then again...it had happened...now i feel content...hehehe...

Have several more wishes which i hope will come true...never stop dreaming as you never know when it will become reality...

Review - Skyfall

Had hectic week...really need some break...so off me go for Skyfall with my GengJepang buddies...what i have to say is that...it is one very elegant movie lah...seriously cool...

The movie start off with chase action sequence in Istanbul...owh my...one of my wishlist...i noticed that there are some similar location as the one featured in Taken 2...that rooftop thingie...owh...must go there and snap some pics if i ever set my foot in Istanbul...then the chase ends with Bond (played to perfection by Daniel Craig) shot by one of the field agent...okay fyne...move away honey...seriously you are no field agent...hahaha...

Bond is dead...owh noooo...of coz not lah...how come the hero die...seems like he survive and enjoying his time out in the beach...ahaaa...of coz with some lovely ladies...ehemmmm...then of coz i think Bond kinda miss all those sports car and expensive suit...so he report back to duty...this time around the villain is even trickier...as he used to be MI6 agent as well...then Bond again went hunting for the villain...in Shanghai...owh my wishlist too...but of coz before that he goes on hanky panky with the villain girl friend la (played by French-Chinese-Cambodian actress Berenice Lim Marlohe)...and as usual...the villain girlfriend died after a few scene...of coz killed by the villain...owh my...

Bond captured the villain...back to London (owh i am so going to London after this)...everybody happy...end of the movie...owh no not yet yer...seems like this villain is brilliant one...he is some sort of computer geek or something...he got away...then he go after M...didn't managed to kill M and Bond whisked away M to his family home named Skyfall...owhhh...now that's where the movie title came from...for a while i thought it has some sort of complex meaning as Quantum of Solace...

Okay nevermind...villain come hunting for them in Skyfall...which is in this very remote beautiful countryside in Scotland i think...then villain got killed...M too...ooopsss...spoiler...hahaha...the end...owh no not yet...one final scene...now Bond report duty to new M...the new M is a guy...he appeared throughout the movie...just watch it to find out...

Overall i like Daniel Craig's Bond movie more than other Bond movie in the franchise...for one thing...its much edgier and darker...with more complex character...not merely a secret agent with cool cars and funky gadgets...owh...this time around Bond have no new car...he hijacked M's Jaguar then drive his very own vintage Aston Martin DB5 to Skyfall...the locations are also added to the elegance of the movie...all are in my wishlist...hahaha...somehow...Bond really make this secret agent thingie way cool...even with lots of dramatic events surrounding his life...hahaha...now i can't wait for the next Bond movie...i wonder how its going to be like...and also wonder whose the 'lucky' Bond girl to be killed after a few scene...hehehe...

My Best Friend's Wedding - Puan Mala

Our friendship is kinda funny...hehehe...at least of how it started...

We are in the same service...we were in the same batch during our 6 months course...she's my senior per say...but we are of the same age...we never spoke to each other during that 6 months course...first of all we were never in the same 'sidang'...but we were both in the same dance group as well as archery group...but well...the will has it that we never spoke to each other...but she kept remind me that she used to say hi and i just replied hi...and that's it...ermmm...i am a shy person la...hahaha...

Then...months after we finished with our 6 months course...never spoke to each other still...but i came across her blog...interesting read i might say...i left few comments and she replied...and that was how it started...from leaving comments on each other's blog...then we basically went for a coffee...it happens that we can get along so well...its funny how few simple words in blog can do what 6 months course didn't...its ironic...but that is just how we ended up being very good friends...

Congratulations on your wedding...may your married life will be a blissful one and filled with love and laughter until ever after...but still i want to have permission from your beloved hubby to bbm you from time to time just to rant and rave as usual...hehehe...

1,500++km Journey for My Beloved Lil Bro's Wedding...

It was by far the most exhausting journey that i had ever done...but one really historical and memorable to our family as to welcome the new addition to our family...also it is the first time that all of us brothers and sisters managed to get together after 3 years...the last time was during my big bro's wedding in 2009...

To start it off...i drove from Putrajaya to Seri Kembangan to pick up my friend...then pick up cakes in Cyberjaya...then we had to drove all the way to Rawang to pick up my lil bro's wedding wear (what da hek can forgot this one arrrr)...then back to KL to pick up my sis...drove through Karak to Kuantan then to Kemaman and took the coastal way to Kuala Terengganu with heavy rains and mist...phewww...reached our destination...and i was all flat...

That nite was the akad nikah...the following day the weather seems to be in our side as it was sunny day...unlike the day before it rained heavily...then the very next day we all went all the way up to Kok Lanas in Kelantan to 'merisik' another lil bro's intended...wachaaaa...i can't believe both my lil bro's are getting married before me...cesss...but its 'jodoh'...alhamdulillah...then we took the road through Gua Musang...cross the 'Banjaran Titiwangsa' all the way to Gerik...then through Kulim to go to Penang as the next check point to drop off my parents and some of my brothers and sisters...then took another journey to Putrajaya with a pit stop in Ipoh to drop off my big bro and my cute niece and nephew before resume back to Putrajaya and went to the office to resume with my tons of work...hahahaha...

Overall the route has been somewhat like this...Putrajaya - Seri Kembangan - Cyberjaya - Rawang - Kuala Lumpur - Kuantan - Kemaman - Kuala Terengganu - Kok Lanas - Gua Musang - Gerik - Kulim - Penang - Ipoh - Putrajaya...phewwww...its 1,500++ km journey that i will never forget...but i already told my pa that when my another lil bro getting married in Kelantan...allow me to take flight instead...hahaha...

Weddings in the family has always been a great occasion...we get together...had our shares of laughter...try to make it as memorable as it can be as we are all attach to our life...we had our shares of mistakes...we had our shares of harsh words...but we are all still brothers and sisters regardless...its always been a great thing to hang out together...even if it is only for few days...as we never know when we will be able to get together again...perhaps next year for my lil bro's wedding...or perhaps mine...hehehe...i can only pray...amin...
