Mie-G is a teacher, i am a govt officer...yeah i know...ramai orang ingat govt servant takder kerja nak wat...but unluckily, its not...i really hope that most people's opinion are true...to tell the truth, our jobscope are wider and we have to cover lots more area rather than just thinking about the company's profit and what not...so go figure...anyway, dah nak dekat 6 bulan aku tak jumpa Mie-G, and i missed his/my birthday...supposed kitorang gi kuar celebrate birthday (like we do every year) tapi waktu time tu (23 May 2009) aku on the flight flying home from London...so i missed the day lah...then bila birthday aku plak, dia gi kursus....so memang kali ni dah kata, not another tradition have to go wasted...so buka posa la skali....luckily i managed to block my date earlier (perghhh bunyi cam orang besar ajer hahahah)...
At first ingat nak gi buka posa kat Nando's ajer...tapi aku dok kol la Nando's Alamanda & Souq (yang kat masjid Putra tu) tapi takdak sapa jawab...so aku kol la Alamanda punya receptionist...then dapat tau yang kat Alamanda ada tiga restoran wat buffet...semua harga sama....Penang Village, Bayou & Chakri Express....memula aku dah book la kat Penang Village, tapi sebab tahun lepas dah pernah pergi, so gi ajer situ, tengok Chakri pon wat, so aper lagi...Chakri it is...
The buffet spread is not that magnificent...tapi the taste very well complimented the lack of choices....hari ni aku blasah ajer sotong, udang, black pepper beef and lots of sate...pastu plak ada plak mee siam....memang one thing about Chakri, the chef is MADE IN THAILAND...muslim...so if anyone wants to question about the 'halal'ity...then you are welcome to comment...but as far as i am concern, this place is halal...they use Australian imported beef for the cuisine, as it is more tender than local meat....well with the price we are paying, then they should serve the best....dia punya ulam counter memang sangat la enticing, egg salad, krabu mango, som tam dan sewaktu dengannya....then as for the dessert counter, there's only nyonya kuih and also bubur jagung ala siam....no complain here....the food taste good...stay there, chat and all, take pictures then we off to terawih in Tuanku Mizan Mosque...went off for a nite cap then headed back home....
So we have another round of iftar, and its going to be on Mie-G's treat and his place of choosing...all i know he wants to go to this Nelayan Restaurant in Bangi...last year it was fully booked....this year i reminded him to book first....perghh....tak tau ler harga brapa....tapi buffet gak, seafood style....its good to meet up with Mie-G again....he is one of my friends who truly be a friend no matter what...and i really appreciate this friendship....dia pon dah nak kawin dah hari raya haji nie...so i have to look around for the flight ticket....mungkin gi pagi balik petang kot...tak tau nak wat aper le kat klantan....huahuahau....its the 5th day of Ramadhan but i feel like this year the Ramadhan month flying too fast....
Tomorrow have dinner date at my uncle's in Subang (meeting my cousin who just came back from Seattle, New York, Seoul, Beijing & Taipei), then maybe going for a buffet with my friends in Gardens Hotel & Residence (i have free coupon), on Sunday crashing to Zaimee & Tina's house and followed by the Merdeka day itself in TGI Friday's in Sunway Pyramid with Book, Amy, Yani....next week...Monday at Ina's, Tuesday with Zack in TGI Friday in IOI Mall, same goes to Wednesday & Thursday which are not yet confirmed....Friday headed back to Alor Setar till Sunday...then the third week....well i have something scheduled already....wahhh....lots of makan-makan and meeting friends...i am feeling good...hehehehe
