What to give?
First of all...my birthday this year as always filled with countless of food consumptions...aside from giving me presents, some of my friends prefer to give me a treat...considering how much i love eating...which is by the way is not helping me with those cutting down calories...at all!!!...but what da heck...my birthday is only once a year...there's plenty of time to lose more of those calories before next year's birthday....hahaha...
Presents...well i get a few...not going to disclose what i get as some people might get a different idea (zet and adrian???)...hahaha...but i do appreciate all those presents that i got for this year...i was touched that some people do care about me enough to actually give me presents on top of remembering my birthday...which is 8th of June by the way (sila set date ini dalam henfon anda ya)...hahaha...
Sebenarnya bila cakap pasal hadiah nie...bukan boleh bagi sembarangan hadiah...boleh timbulkan kontroversi (zet and adrian again???)...hahaha...when someone wants to give a present to another...it all comes back to the level of how close you are with the other particular person...you never wanted to give a different ideas nor that you want the other person to get a wrong message...
The most neutral ones would be just a normal lunch or dinner treat...tapi depends gak...kalau bawak gi romantic candelite dinner tu...peliksss...or maybe books...yeah i do get books for my birthday since some of my friends do know about my reading habits (other than eating habits that is)...these are among the normal presents/ treats that a person gave to another...
Clothing materials are definitely personal...seriously...melekap kat badan kot...how closer it can be kan...tapi kalau t-shirt souvenier tu normal la...i mean like watches, perfumes, boxer shorts (yeah i do get that as well...giler tak)...that is entirely personal...only close friends would give that...i am saying here from a guy's perspective la...at least...my perspective...gadgets pon boleh dikira personal gak...yer ler...kawan biasa takkan bagi iPod or PSP sesuka hati kot...flight tickets gak...takkan kawan biasa nak bagi flight tickets...itu memang ada udang di sebalik mee goreng mamak tu...hahaha....tapi kalau close friends yang bagi...kira normal la tu...close friends kan....even zegna neck tie and perfumes...close friends bagi...normal la tu...even from the same gender...at least thats what i think...
To sum it up...getting presents is one of the nicest feeling anyone could ever feel...yer ler...benda free kan...memang best...but there's still this thin line that separates the feelings...its all comes down to the level of closeness between the giver and the receiver...tapi aku tak kisah...for one thing...i never analyse what had received...just go ahead and feel touched and happy coz at least someone do care enough to give any thing...hehehe...

the phrase "never analysed" reminds me of what happened recently. bagi aku (being headstrong) suka hatila nak bagi pape pun kat org tu. tanda ingatan. but aku takleh terima kalo orang demand.
