Family Album

We didn't managed to take a family picture during hari raya...

Its all becoz the lack of family members...but we managed to re-group as one big happy family during my big bro's second child ceremony...but my second sis still couldn't make it...we all understand why...there are 8 of us...4 boys and 4 girls...with 8 different personality traits...but despite that...we are still family...and when we get together under one roof...it can spell only one thing...GREAT TIME!!!

Pertanyaan biasa ketika aku menghadiri sebarang upacara perkahwinan...

Disember tetiap tahun mesti berduyun duyun ler kad kawin mai...tu tak campur lagi dengan FB invites lagi...total 27 semuanya...

Daripada 27 majlis...

1 aku kena jadi salah seorang daripada 18 pengiring pengantin...

2 lagi aku kena jadi pengapit pengantin...

Asik jadi wedding crashers ajer aku nieh...biler ler plak time aku nak biar orang lain crash aku punya wedding...

Hanya Allah yang tahu...tapi aku harap jangan le lelama sangat...takmo ler aku jadi bujang terlajak...

Tetiba lagu 'Cari Jodoh' by Wali Band terngiang ngiang kat telinga...dengggg...

Goodbye Plastics

Finally...after more than 4 years...

I finally cancelled both my H*SBC credit cards...visa and mastercard (the mastercard was given without me asking for it)...the process was simple actually...went to the bank...take the number...then meet the customer service representative...NOT...

Yeah...the process was simple...but the execution was a bit lengthy...i went to the bank...met the cust service rep...then told her i want to cancel both credit cards...then she went over my latest statement...there's some outstanding balance...okay...i just need to clear it up...but...it was not that easy...as my current statement is not yet to the cut-off date...so i can't cancel the card just yet...but we filled in the form...the billing add was stated at my aunt's in gombak...usually i will just paid the card without taking a look at the full statement...just log in the personal banking online...

There was two items in my credit statements that was being paid by me...one thing about this particular bank was that the sales person were always calling up for promos and what not...so maybe it was my mistake or miscomprehension about the items they were promoting over the phone...and i end up paying for two things...the credit guardian plus...and also this takaful amanah whatever...both of payments can easily paid for my meals for the whole week...and i got no benefit whatsoever out of it...and i had been paying it for over three years (since i joined the govt...i had been using the credit card since i was in the private sector)...

Back then when i was working in the private sector...i paid my credit card bills without fail...and without any outstanding balance whatsoever...but since i joined the govt sector...there's always an oustanding balance...it was kinda tough at first to really adjust the financial implication of switching from higher income to slightly lower ones...i really respect those who can make the transition smoothly (it took me about a year to get used to it)...then i just found out how exactly the finance charges was calculated...it was not as easy as i thought it was...when i heard the way the cust rep explaining it to me...it was denggg complicated...the outstanding balance carried forward on top of the current charges on top of the previous balance and finance charges of the former month...denggg...actually the finance charges was calculated on daily basis based on the oustanding balance after the payment which included the finance charges for the that particular month...thats why the financial charges still exists eventhough you paid full sum without any outstanding balance...as it was charged on the outstanding balanced carried forward from the former month...arghhh...

So end up...i physically destroyed the card...cut it into two pieces...but technically its still yet to be settled...now i have to wait for the finance charges for the current month and also on top of that the takaful whatever along with the credit guardian plus (which was supposed to be charged in month end but i have to pay it anyway for the month of Dec eventhough i cancelled my card and paid the oustanding balance) to finally get it out of my system...denggg...that H*SBC credit card is simply a silent 'bleeder'...it will suck you dry...its all because all these 'extra protection plans' that goes along with it...not sure if they have it for another bank...but based on my experience with cimbeng...i don't have them calling me every week to update on promos and what not that i surely don't need...

Owh yeah...i forgot to mention...just three days ago a sales rep from the bank called me up about giving me loan for RM11k...no documentation needed...they can just debit it to any of my bank acc...and they will charge it monthly to the credit card...you know how much the interest? it was 11% (if i am not mistaken) over the course of 5 years...owh...how convenient...and on top of that...there will be all those monthly financial charges of 1.5% monthly on top of the 11% or was it 22%?...even my car loan was only 3.33% interest rate...OMG...my answer...

~sorry, i am working in the govt sector and it is stupid of me to take on your offer as i can take on loans easily at a BETTER rate than whats your 'bloodsucking financial institution' is offering if i want to...and i will appreciate it if you just blacklist my number from your phone book as i am going to cancel my card coz i am not satisfied with the service given~

That managed to caught her off guard as there was a complete silence for about 7 seconds...and then she sweetly said sorry to interrupt and thank you...

In the end i felt so good to get it over and done with...now i just maintain my cimbeng credit...as its easier for me to monitor my expenses and paid it online as soon as it was posted in my bills...credit cards is actually a good financial tool...but one must know how the exact calculations are made and the exact charges to really utilised it...otherwise...it will be a silent non-living bleeding creature that can leave you dry...and i will advise anyone who want to take on credit to really ask the rep who are promoting it about all the calculations...and make sure its islamic credit cards...owh yeah...affin's finance charges was only 9% per year...and that is half from any other conventional credit cards...not sure whether others too...

But whatever it is...life without plastic is a blessing...no more hidden debts...just simply cash...but i still maintain one plastic...just for controlled usage...hehehe...

Latest Addition

My big bro has been blessed with another child...

Adorable baby Adam with the forever adorable pak ngah...hahahaha...

This time its a baby boy affectionately named Muhammad Adam...i called him baby adam...its the second third generation in Abdul Wahab's clan...so far only my big bro and my second sis got married...my first sis? hurmmm...don't ask...me? hurmmm...just wait and see shall we...

But i am happy with having a nephew...so i have a pair now...a niece and a nephew...cool huh...

Hopefully i will have the chance to add the third generation in the family...insya allah...hehehe...its a long planning...but hey...the year is almost at the end and i almost didn't feel it going...that how time flies...incredibly fast without waiting...for the time being i am content with my travels...but then again...once i got married...there's a major re-structuring has to be done...and i am looking forward to it...

Monthly Meet Up

Just got back from IOI Mall...

Had my monthly meet up with my really close friend during varsity years...Ms Zalina...or affectionately known as Zack...it has been some sort of routine for us to meet up in IOI Mall once a month (non specific date) just to update each other with our life...it was kinda cool and great to actually talk to someone that had known you for years about anything and everything...aside from my quarterly meet ups with Ady...

I don't know how we started to be close friends even back then during the varsity years...but one of the reason back then was because she was the sole and only person in the whole USM that i can actually speak to in English...its like some sort of training myself to speak in English...broken pon broken lah...at least boleh prektis english aku yang hampagas tu...still nowhere compared to Ms Hayati's level lah...that one i have to pull up white flag lah...

And i don't know...is it really a typical malay attitude that can't stands when they heard other people converse in language other than our mother tongue...i still remember back then we got all this sort of comments such as 'sejak bila malaysia ada salji' lah...'bontot hitam perasan mat saleh lah'...'tak patriotik lah'...'melayu perasan bagus lupa diri' lah...and a lot more...at first i just hold up my tongue from giving any comments regarding the matter...i mean like...hello...we were conversing with each other and you are not included in the conversation kot...so do spare the need to try to make us feel bad just because we speak in second language...i still remember that there was this one time that i think i had enough of the nonsense and i just simply with sweet innocent tone commented back...~minta maaf la sebab MUET kitorang band 6 and ko band 2 ajer~...which was enough to make this particular one girl shut her mouth up and reserved her comments for the rest of the varsity years...sentappp kot...hahaha...pueh ati aku...itu dia tak dengar aku prektis aku punya french dengan Ady and Francois (friend of Ady who happens to be French) lagi tu...but truth to be told...i speak horrible french...actually i can't speak french...both of them taught me phrase by phrase on simple conversation in French...but still...it sounds totally horrendous and ridiculous...sure i will make the french fainted for being able to slaughter their language...first class...i think only Francois can understand me...even Ady have an extreme difficulty of understanding my French...hahaha...

Anyway...nowadays we still very much converse in English...but as usual...being malay...its the mixed between each language...it felt good to meet up with Zack that i had known for more than 8 years (OMG that is a long time) and just chat over a drink and dinner...we can be utterly silly...Zack currently working as a quantity surveyor in one of the major construction company in KL...but despite how both of us has grown from our varsity years...there's still that essence of ourselves that really defined who we were before...that never changes...

p/s:my english is still pretty much broken...amponnnn...

Blackberry Or New Zealand

Why can't i just have both???

It's becoz i can only afford either one...if i took blackberry...then i have to hold my plan to go to New Zealand...if i go along with my plan to go to New Zealand...i can say bye bye bye to blackberry...and some of my friends were wondering...how come using blackberry can be equivalent to the amount spent to travel to New Zealand...

Aha...that's where most people have miscalculate the financial implication...taking on blackberry doesn't only means paying for the phone itself...its also paying for the service as well...lets calculate shall we...

The price for the phone (Blackberry Torch) = RM1,588

The monthly commitment (Celcom Exec 50 + Blackberry Pro) = RM148x12months = RM1,776

Grand Total per annum = RM3,364 ~ RM2,614 (after deducting my monthly prepaid reloads)

To be fair...i am currently using prepaid...and i reload RM60 every month...so the grand total deducted by RM720 (RM60x12) is RM2,614...that is an additional payment i have to fork out for next year if i take on Blackberry...

How does this equal to the planned NZ trip...

The return flight ticket via air*asia inclusive tax = RM700 (during promo period it can go as low as RM391 but to be fair i doubled the fare price)...

Accomodations for 5 nites = RM500 (budget lodging can go as low as RM70 per nite)

Meals 3 times a day for 5 nites = RM300

Transport/ entrance fee/ airport transfers = RM500

Small souveniers for myself and those in the list = RM300

Grand Total = RM2,300 (the currency is almost equivalent to Singapore)

Aha...looks like travelling to New Zealand will be slightly cheaper than taking blackberry...

But it has been three years since i last bought handphone...it should came up in the priority list...but then again i had been dreaming of going to New Zealand since i first seen my big sis's photos during her trip there in the late 90s...

A good friend of mine said that i should take the blackberry...and maybe save New Zealand as the honeymoon destination since its quite affordable to go there via Air*asia...as he eloquently stated...

Arghhhh...it comes down to this...either taking on a gadget which is an asset that can be seen everyday until it broke/ unusable anymore...OR...use the same amount for a one-off experience to the beautiful country which will last forever in mind...owh denggg...now i am torn between the two...as i stated in one of my entries before...i can afford to travel by sacrificing other needs...once again now i have to make a decision...decision...decision...decision...what its gonna be...

Intimidated...Insecure...

I don't know why i always stumble into this kind of situation...

I do wonder though...why my friends' (noted the plural terms) respective boyfriends (not husband or fiance' hokey) are intimidated by me...i known their respective girlfriends first before they got into relationship with them...in some cases...both are actually introduced by me whereas their boyfriends are actually my friends as well...

That's why...i was seriously flabbergasted when i was told by my friends that their respective boyfriends are 'troubled' with the fact that i am in a really good terms with their 'significant others'...there had been moments that these friends of mine have to resort to trickery just to hang out...worrying that it will upset their boyfriend...what da fish la weih?

Lets analyse...i don't have that supermodel look...i am not in the category of having lots of money to flaunt away...i am not some smart guy who passes exams with flying colors...i am not categorised in those who are 'polished' in terms of appearance (sangat selekeh hokey)...thats why i don't know why there is the need for these boyfriends of my friends to feel intimidated or feeling insecure about me hanging out with their girlfriends which once again are my good friends since like...forever (okay that is a lil bit 'over')...but you do get my meaning...

It had happened before...and recently it happened again...the best part of the whole thing was...i was the one who actually introduced this particular friend of mine to this another good friend of mine...

Jealousy is seriously a funny thing...as it can be a good thing (as some people will take it as a sign of caring)...but in most time it can be annoying (as what i am in right now)...looking back at my previous experience...it will not turn out good...as there will be another name to be crossed out from my hang out list...intimidated or insecure...please get over it...

I love taking pictures...and being the one in the pictures...

Pictures are wordless...but if one can feel the soul and the moment just by looking at one's picture...then that means the photographer had done a great work capturing the moment to be immortalised in a piece of wordless paper...if one can be swayed to do something just by seeing the pictures...then its the credit again to the photographer...

Thank god i have friends who are such a wonderful photographers...as i look through all the pictures...i wanted to re-live the experience...again and again...

Hotel Or Hostel?

Aha...its a trick question...

Personally i prefer hostel/ budget accomodation if i am travelling to another country...its not really because of the money...coz seriously you can find very good deals on all those hotels yang berbintang bintang di langit kat internet...sometimes up to 80% off the listed room rates...

Bukannya apa...aku takut kalau hotel tu voguesss sangat...nanti aku takmo keluar bilik sebab best sangat bilik dia rasa malas plak nak keluar...rugi ajer aku gi travel jejauh kalau nak dok dalam bilik ajer...

Lain la kalau pi hanimun...oooppsss...hehehe...

Is it possible for a child to be in O+ve blood group if the father and mother are from AB and B+ve blood groups respectively?

My answer...

Possible...

Coz i am O+ve and my father is AB and my mom is A+ve blood groups...

But i gave her a chance...i accepted her request...then comes with it are private messages stating how cool i am nowadays...travelling the globe...and i look better than i used to look...and without even me asking...she offered an information that she's still single...

But am i interested?

And they asked me to do the honor of becoming the pengapit...i am flattered and truly feel honored by the request...it is always a great feeling to be a part of someone's very meaningful day such as this...a person won't asked just anyone to be the pengapit...they will asked for the ones that they considered as their close buddies...owh i need to slim down (as if aku plak nak kawin) hahaha...

I am truly happy for my friend...now he can join in the list of MY pengapits (note the plural terms) by the time i get married...when? only god knows that...hehehe...

Always The Best Man...Never The...errrr...Man?

Buat kesekian kalinya aku kena jadi pengapit lagi...

Only for this time its not exactly the main person...just one of the string of 12 man who will be escorting the pengantin during the ceremony...aiya ya...sekali lagi...tahun ni dah masuk kali ke-3...tahun lepas dah brapa ntah...sebelum tu lagi...aiiiii...orang tua tua cakap kalau jadi pengapit ni nanti lambat kawin...erkkkk...tapi orang tua cakap jangan percaya gak...depa kata anak dara nyanyi kat dapuq kawin dengan orang tua...errkkk betoi kot...siti dulu mesti dok rajin nyanyi kat dapuq...okay nevermind...

The small celebration ceremony will be held outside of malaysia for only a few close friends and family...alahai...aku kena minta kebenaran gi obesi lagi la nieh...nikah ceremony kat KL...tapi the reception is in one of the islands in the south east asia lah...maleh nak cakap mana satu...so all of us are going to be flown away to this island a day before the wedding reception...abis akad nikah terus cabut gi airport la kiranya...pastu abis wedding balik mai sini balik and let all those family members dengan pengantin sambung 'tambah' family member...hahaha...but i can't imagine we all will be donning baju melayu at the seaside...in a foreign country...arghhh...biaq pi lah...heheh...tapi diorang akan wat another reception kat KL lah...dapat baju lagi lah kot...hahaha...

Anyway...aku okay ajer...tarak hal...tambah tambah dapat baju free...makan kat meja pengantin (ooopppsss)....dapat travel free (Din's wedding in Indonesia and this time)...and a good feeling that i am a part of someone's really important day...

Tapi bila la plak time aku...aku rasa bila sampai time aku nanti...aku nak paksa diorang ni yang dok asyik suh aku jadi diorang punya pengapit ni jadi pengapit aku plak...hahaha...abis la jadi cam citer 27 dresses nanti...wahhh...cool gak tu...but all in all...i am just happy that my good friends are happy...

Hari Raya dan bergambar tidak dapat dipisahkan...

As explained in my previous entry...this year's raya is not as happening as it used to be...still waiting for next year...but still...fotografi punya session mana boleh berhenti...hehehe...as for the family pictures...well i just put on some unconvetional hari raya pictures...the ones that my siblings menggediks skit...conventional pictures are for the family album...

My lil bro new gadget...

My lil bro got himself a new camera...used camera that is...sold by my sis's friend who happened to be a photographer with dozens of cameras and want to let go one of them...hurmmm...so...apa lagi...berfoto lah kami dengan kamera itu...the pictures turns out quite nice...touch up a lil bit here and there...voila...we have great pictures...

Wajah-wajah hari raya...

Most of the pictures consist of the siblings...and as usual...jumping pics lah...muka senget pics lah...you know...all those unconventional ones...but these pictures represents who we are in a way...the happiness still shines through...and i just love it...edit here and there...and there you go...

Drive to penang...

Nasi kandar berebut...hahaha...

I love the time we went to Penang for the family dinner of some sort in Ferringhi...we drove up to ayah mi's holiday apartment...and he throw a makan-makan party...there were only three big family were there...the abdul wahab clan (thats us) mak ida clan (the closest family and my father's younger sister) and the owner ayah mi clan (my father's younger brother)...menu? ayah mi is well-known with his tendency towards nasi kandar...all we got that nite was nasi kandar line clear...but during the dinner...it went so hectic...that we rename it as nasi kandar berebut...hahaha...it was fun...can you just imagine...3 big northern family get together...we are loud okay...hahaha...

My sister's apartment...

We end up staying for the nite at my sis's apartment in penang...it was seriously cool...as my sis's apartment is just next to USM...i kinda miss my varsity years...it was a very educational years...not only for studies...but for what i have become personally...thats what i always feel...education is important no matter what...going to university is important no matter what...coz it is some sort of character building...and being around the right kind of people...i can still replay those memories of puasa in USM in my mind...among the most unforgettable years of my life...not really the best years...but surely the most unforgettable...

Raya tahun ni tak meriah cam dulu...

First of all...abang aku raya kat rumah mertua dia in ipoh....secondly...akak aku balik hari raya kedua...thirdly...adik aku tak balik beraya...for which i dont know why...and fourthly...this is the 11th consecutive year akak aku lagi sorang tak beraya dengan kitorang kat malaysia sebab susah nak dapat cuti...overall...hari raya pertama was just plain dull...nak tangkap gambar pon cam takder mood...

Hari raya pertama...lepas semayang raya...gi ziarah kubur arwah tok...ziarah kubur arwah ikram...then balik rumah tengok tv tunggu semayang jumaat...lepas semayang jumaat baru ler gi rumah sedara mara yang dekat...and as usual...tok teh's house never fail to leave an impression...makan? hurmmm...hari raya pertama mak aku buat laksa...seriously...that is my favorite dish in the whole wide world...cant you just imagine how it goes then...

Hari raya kedua...lepak kat rumah ajer...senang cakap la...aku tak ada kawan kat aloq setaq...most of my long time friends dah lost contact sudah...some that were close already moved out or married...jadi...dok melepak ajer ler kat rumah...tapi kedebusss...sedara mara pak aku datang...abis la dapur tu dah jadi cam hell's kitchen...serious tak tipu...kitorang 5 bradik tetiba jadi cam kitchen helper siapkan segala benda nak sambut tetamu yang mai...but it was worth the effort...it was great to have people in our house...

Hari raya ketiga...jadi host jugak lagi...kali ni with another additional dish...laksam...bukan kelantan style okay...ini memang pure kedah style...datang ler lagi sedara mara pak aku ke rumah kitorang...sedara mara mak aku? dont ask...lepas tu terus tutup kedai...off we all go for family dinner in ferringhi...exciting siot...heheheh...

Hari raya keempat? i'll write about it in my next entry...coz tak sampai lagi kan...

But i am looking forward for next year's hari raya...coz...insya allah...semua kitorang 8 bradik akan berkumpul kat rumah...and then aku akan ada anak sedara yang kedua...tak tau ler lagi laki ker pompuan...and akak aku yang dok kat US tu akan balik for hari raya...for the first time after 11 years...aku dah siap dalam kepala dah dengan akak aku pasal menu for next year...kitorang pon nak decide on color theme for next year gak...maybe goes with shades of green or yellow...hehehe...then we are just going to have fun...can't wait for next year...

Jalan TAR Memories @ Ramadhan

Aku beli crocs untuk hari raya....tetiba aku teringat citer pasal crocs tahun lepas...

Macam biasa la...annual event is going to Jalan TAR for final shopping...waktu time tu ada aku, emmy jo, tina, zaimee, zetty, leen, arep, cher dengan pija...jalan punya jalan...aku pun dah rembat satu baju melayu dengan samping...arep pon sama...zaimee pon sama...cuma pompuan ajer cam tak beli aper aper...okay fyne...sampai la kat satu gerai yang jual crocs...

Kitorang pon dok tengok tengok la sandal kasut semua bagai kat situ...tina dengan emmy jo cam berkenan giler nak beli...

Emmy Jo : eh eh eh...comelnya selipar nieh...(melihat satu selipar crocs)...

Tina : Cantik jugak sandal ni...(melihat satu sandal crocs)

Emmy Jo : i nak try lah kejap...(sambil mengenakan selipar crocs itu)...

Tina : ~juga mencuba sandal crocs itu~

Ayat seterusnya buat Tina terus kensel mau beli itu sandal...hehehe...

Emmy Jo : comel la selipar nie...boleh la i buat masuk toilet...

Tina dan semua : ~tergamam~

Tina : ~terus meletakkan semula sandal itu dan kitorang semua meneruskan perjalanan tanpa membeli~

Setelah beberapa langkah berjalan...

Tina : aku mau beli crocs tu...tapi dengar emmy jo cakap itu standard gi toilet ajer terus aku tak jadi beli...

Aku : hahahahahahaha~gelak guling guling~

Emmy Jo : ~blur~

Kelakar siot malam tu...rasa cam sangat lawak la...aku pun tergamam gak...crocs tu aku pakai gi KLCC kot...tapi emmy jo setakat standard masuk jamban ajer...giler arrr high class...hehehe...tapi takper...eventho emmy jo is like that...but i still love her as one of my closest friend in the whole world...tapi aku tetap rasa nak tergelak ingat balik tina punya expression waktu emmy jo cakap camtu....hehehe...

Aku Chubby @ Ramadhan

Nak tergelak pon ada...nak siku akak tu pon ada...hehehe...

Malam tu gi jalan TAR dengan zetty, zaimee dengan jepp...pastu biasa la nak beli baju melayu...jepp dok bajet nak buat baju melayu mahal...tapi dapat ajer jumpa RM50...kain okay...kaler dia suka...tak banyak bunyik...terus dia beli...DUA PASANG...hahahah...kelakar sioottt...maybe to make up for the 6 years aidilfitri in korea la tu...

Nak dijadikan cerita...ada la akak sorang ni tengah cari baju melayu untuk husband dia...kebetulan kitorang 2 ada depan mata dia...dia jadikan kitorang as reference dia...

Akak Sengal : Husband akak dia tinggi skit...

Akak Penjual : Macam saiz adik ni kah? (sambil menunjuk ke arah jepp)

Akak Sengal : Hurmmm...tak...dia tinggi lagi...

Akak Penjual : Macam adik ni kah? (sambil menunjuk ke arah aku)

Akak Sengal : A'ah...ye ye ye...(sambil memandang ke arah aku)

Ayat seterusnya memang power abis...cisss...

Akak Sengal : Tapi husband i tak chubby macam you...hihihi (sambil tergelak gelak)

Jepp : ~Gelak cam haremmm~

Aku : ~Flabbergasted~ cesss...

Sengal sungguh la akak tu...slamba badak ajer cakap aku camtu...cess...siku kangggg...tapi...aper per hal pun...maksudnya aku kena kurangkan makan lah nie...a total stranger cakap aku chubby...perlukah?

Ramadhan @ Golden Palm Tree Sepang

I just can't help it...

Golden Palm Tree in Sepang Gold Coast...

Its a newly opened resort...away in Sepang Gold Coast (actually more in bagan lalang lah)...and for this merdeka day, they are having promo for RM53++ for the ramadhan buffet (normally its RM119++)...and of coz being me...i just can't help it but to notify my dear buddies whether they are interested...ha and alia were in...then comes along fara...and the last but not least...the sweet couples...adrian and ainul...

Tired waiting for iftar time...

Went to picked up ha and fara at ha's...then ainul and adrian joined from Sepang as they were in Nilai 3...then alia join in from her home in sepang gold coast...its kinda far from putrajaya...i still remember my first reaction when i went to alia's in sepang gold coast...deng far far away bro...nama ajer sepang...tapi hamik ko...kat bagan lalang tu...memang giler jauh...but then again...with the right company joining along...the long ride was fun and filled with laughter...

My main course...all the seafoods jumble up together...hehehe...

First of all...the place was awesome...deng gojes weih...it is like a palm tree in the middle of the sea...usually they held the buffet in the middle of the palm tree...which is on top of the sea...but since they had an overwhelming response to the promo...they have it the ballroom instead...in any buffet...the most important criteria for me is the dessert counter...they have cheese cakes...choc cakes...variety of nyonya kuih...choc fountain (strawberry flavours)...ice cream...owh they had me at cheesecakes...

The cheesecakes and chocolate cakes...yummy....

As for the main course...they have lots of seafoods...seriously...the prawns are fresh...squids...moussels...crabs (cher mesti suka punya)...and the usuals...meats...beefs...chickens...and all...at the grilled counter...they have grilled seafoods...sate...beefsteaks...chickens...seriously the whole presentation really wake up my appetite...hehehe...

Chocolate coated strawberries and mini parfait...

They have a lot of foreigners here...i mean...a lot...and they also have a taste of the ramadhan buffet...the only thing that put me off is...they started eating as early as 6:45 p.m...who can blame them...they are foreigners...they might be a lil bit clueless about iftar concept in malaysia...usually malaysians (regardless of race and religion) will be really courteous and waited till everyone are allowed to eat then they eat...but then again...they are foreigners...

Selamat berbuka puasa...mulakan denga bismillah...

We ate and we ate...and they have the band to accompany us while we were eating...starting with ghazal performances (which adrian took their contact number for 'future' use...hehehe)...and these guys who play violin...really cool...kinda remind me of mess nite during police attachment 2 years ago (omaigot...had it been that long ago)...owh...they even have pasta counter...they cooked it for you as you ordered...cool huh...

Ha's excited face with her foods...yeah...

Overall...for the price of RM53++...we really enjoyed the dish presented...and we had fun thruout...it is a great iftar session outside of KL and Putrajaya...and i am glad that they had the promo...otherwise i wouldn't even dream of going there for the full price...hehehehe...

Another successful iftar session with dear friends...alia...ha...fara...adrian...ainul...

I think i am done with ramadhan buffet for this year...my stomach can't really handle it anymore...and also the expenses...so this might very well be the final iftar in hotel...after this i should just stick to mosques or bazaar for food...hehehe...but it is definitely a great closure for my ramadhan buffet for this year...owh yeah...i had one iftar session with jaja yesterday in bangi...should write about my experience there in the next entry as i left the camera inside jaja's car...so have to get the camera first lah...but all in all...great food should be accompanied by good friends...then it become worth the time and money...

Review - Step Up 3D

Bosan kat rumah...terus login gsc...tengok ada cerita nie kul 12:40 a.m...

Perfect timing...dah abis terawih semua...just that nobody nak gi tengok lah...sebab lewat sangat...no worries...i have no problems about watching movie alone...sometimes i do watch alone as i can just focus on the movie...i watched the previous two step up movie...the first one was kinda cool...the second one gets better in term of the choreography...and this third installment is no disappointment...the dance was sleek...do remember to ignore the ridiculous story line...and kinda repetitive too...

The movie started off cool enough with this mini documentary about people who dance...and then in central park there were these new NYU students attending their orientation...Moose (from Step Up 2) and Cam (Step Up 1)...and moose got distracted by this so-called-limited edition Nike shoes that he followed the guy who wore the shoe to the place where some dancers are 'battling' out their moves...and people around them are betting...and of course...moose got in to the battle and won and ran away from the police...i hate to elaborate why...only to be saved by the nike shoes guy, Luke (who look more like a supermodel than dancer)...

This luke guy...i dont know what to make of him...he owns this building which have club downstairs and this dance studio upstairs...and have all these street dancers who had been chased away or ran away from their respective homes under his care...okay fyne...he is some sort of guardian dancing angel...erkkk...and he supported all these  people...including foods and all and what not (including deng gojes shoes weih...dozens of them) with the revenue of his not-so-profitable club...

He then recruit moose to be in his 'crew' (obviously this is what dance group is called) and this another girl who Luke found in his club, Natalie...he then took in these another two people under his wings and then getting all of them ready for the world jam dance battle...the winner will win USD100,000...which luke desperately needed to pay off the mortgage...

But what is a movie without drama...here comes Julien...luke's sworn enemy who will do whatever he can to win the world jam title and at the same time trying to buy off luke's safe haven...surprise surprise...turns out natalie is julien's lil sis...and you kinda guess what happens afterwards...but blah blah blah blah....everyone kiss up and make up...and they all went for the competition and won...yeah...everybody happy...owh yeah...luke and natalie after that went to california as luke enroll into a film school and natalie...hurmmm...being a loyal girlfriend...just follow luke lah...tacky...cliche...but i kinda love the movie though...

Overall the movie storyline kinda...eeerrrrrr...but try not to focus on the storyline and you are safe enough...the highlights of the movie are the dance sequence...my favorite is of cos the second battle against the chinese with the song Beggin' as the background...and it got all those water sequence in the dance which made it looked so aerodynamic and seriously cool...another one will be the tango sequence during natalie's birthday...and seriously...did luke went for the rehearsal beforehand or something...he came to the party without knowing anything...and suddenly on the dance floor...there he was...dancing to the same rhytm and tune as others...OMG...but the dance sequence was seriously sexy...hello...its tango...and another one of my fave part of the whole movie is where the MSA Crew (from Step Up 2) made an appearance in the later half of the movie to support luke's crew...there was kiddo, cable, smile etc...i think cable is seriously cool (he also appeared in Glee)...

This movie does have its moments...and those moments made it good enough for watching...and just to let you know...i watched it twice in the cinema...hehee...watching this movie made me wanna sign up for a dance class and join some 'crew' then battle it out in Showdown...boleh la dapat RM50,000...hehehe...seriously...if this movie doesn't make you feel you wanna just go out and dance...i dont know what will...

MEGA SALE Next To MOF

I should had never went there...

But its too late...the damage is already done...i should had just leave my credit cards at home...owh denggg...it was freaking cheap...seriously talking...and i am not a shopaholics (denial state)...but the prices posted really intrigued me...arghhh....it is kinda ironic that the sale was held next to the building owned by an organisation which handle budgetting...and responsible for all the budget cuts...but there it was...the sale that incite people to spend shamelessly...hahaha...

Went there with no intention whatsoever to buy anything...but i just can't resist myself...walk out from there with yet another pair of shoes...owh shoot...i almost bought three of them...seriously talking...i am not joking...but my logic side of mind whispered to me about my other expenses...so i just went out with one...New Balance sneakers...for RM80...initially there was also Nike and Adidas sneakers in my hands as well...owh god...and i already have enough shoes (for a guy) to last me a lifetime (okay that is a bit exaggerated lah)...

Not only satisfied with that...i almost bought another office sling bag as well...deng cun weih...but i whispered to myself...mimie already got me one of those for my birthday this year...then there was mattress...deng sedap weih...mebi tidoq sampai tak boleh bangun pi kerja nanti...i whispered to myself again...my car needs fixing...okay...then there was this cool sofa...deng selesa weih...i whispered to myself again...my flat is small and cant accomodate sofa that big....then there was this LCD tv...deng cheap weih...i whispered to myself once more...i already have a still good tv at home...then there was shirts...deng cheap weih...i whispered to myself...mana aku mau letak baju dah...closet tu dah penuh dah...owh god...alhamdulillah...whispering to myself logically seems to take in effect...i just walk out with one pair of shoes...

But seriously...MEGASALES are a great way to boost the economy...but not really good for an easily persuaded guy like me...hahaha...but i am happy enough that i dont walk out of the place with yet another set of items that i really dont need...okay la tu...hehehe...

Sahur Ala American Mashed Potatoes Orang Bujang

Ini adalah resipi sendirian berhad...

Kentang itu dilenyek dengan garfu bersama blek peper garam thymes dan sedikit seasoning...

Aku malas nak mampuss nak wat jacket potato....so aku buat mash potato ajer...senang...cepat and tak banyak bunyik...and ini pakai kepala hotak sendiri ajer punya resipi...ntah ler...memula...amik la 4 biji kentang tu....boil terussss dalam air...kat atas api....pastu aku gi melayan ler buat teh la...basuh baju la dan sewaktu dengannya...

Yang ini lepas letak dalamnya itu cili kasi pedasss skit...

Pastu bila dah agak agak empuk itu kentang....angkut...tapis kuar ayaq tu (buang terusss la)...then peel off the potato skin...memang senang ler nak peel off lepas rebus tu...kemudian...masuk dalam bowl...masuk black pepper (aku punya bahan wajib cam jamie oliver bersama bahan wajibnya lemon)...sikit seasoning meggi itu...thymes...salt...gaul gaul gaul sampai hancur itu....aku bahagikan kepada 4...

Yang ini plak letak cheese...baru ler cheesy...hahaha...

Ini la sendiri punya otak punya sendiri pikiaq...yang first tu...aku masuk cili...cili kering yang ditumbuk bagai dengan minyak tu...ektuali beli kat supermarket jer benda alah tu...masuk benda itu sebagai dia punya inti la konon....then yang kedua...aku letak cheese....yang ketiga...aku letak sos blackpepper dengan sedikit sosej yang potong halus goreng...and last but not least yang ketiga tu just simply gitu ajer...

Masuk dalam itu oven dah bakar terussss....

All four dibahagikan dan di letak atas aluminium foil...then balut...then masuk ler keempat pat tu dalam oven and bakar dalam 30 mins at 150 degrees...sebenarnya dalam 15 minits aku dah angkut satu kuar and ngap...hehehe....itu ler dia...satu lagi homemade cooking yang tak sedap pon daripada aku nieh...biasa la...resipi orang yang maleh nak surf tengok proper recipe kat internet...and maleh nak buat benda lain lagi dah...yang penting....kenyang...boleh lapik perut untuk sepanjang hari...hehehe...
